New in the FOI Journal: clearer information for choosing, using and storing everyday care
Nine new bilingual articles explore product selection, daily care, storage and specifications, covering oral care, hairbrushes, sleep accessories and short trips.
Everyday questions, clearly explained
The FOI Journal has added a set of practical guides. They begin with questions that come up when choosing and using products: how our adult brushes differ, how to help a child brush, what a toothpaste label tells you and how to organise care items afterwards.
Each guide is available in Chinese and English, with links to the relevant product pages so that you can move between a practical question and confirmed specifications.
Before choosing
Choosing a FOI toothbrush compares head dimensions, bristle arrangements and handling, with the focus on suitability for your own routine.
Reading a toothpaste label separates Aquatic Mint flavour, 130 g net weight, formulation and age suitability to explain what to look for beyond a product name.
During and after use
Helping a child aged 1–6 brush connects the children’s brush design with adult assistance, toothpaste choice and storage.
Cleaning a cushion or vented hairbrush begins with removing trapped hair, followed by label-led cleaning, air-drying and protection for the pins.
Packing for two nights away groups essentials around washing, grooming and rest, helping you keep the items you expect to use.

Where the information comes from
FOI names, specifications and construction details come from current product materials. General care advice includes links to public NHS, ADA or AAD guidance where relevant. Those references do not constitute certification or endorsement of FOI products.
For formulation, origin, suitability, care and batch details, check the full pack and seller documentation for the item you purchase. The website’s phone and email are available for further enquiries.
Nine current products
The current range covers oral care, hairbrushes and sleep accessories. Children’s care is a browsing shortcut; the children’s toothbrush also belongs to the oral-care collection. Visual concepts in New Care are not included in the nine existing products.
We hope these guides make everyday objects easier to understand. Explore the collection or read the FOI brand and product introduction.
